Armstrong Drilling has specialized in residential, commercial and agricultural well drilling for over thirty years. We have knowledge and experience working with Indiana State and Kokomo/Burlington local codes in drilling wells of 5” to 16”. With this experience we offer valuable resources to accommodate a large range of needs.
Is your well pump system not working correctly? Armstrong Drilling only employs qualified, certified, and experienced well pump technicians on to install, troubleshoot, or repair all models of residential well pumps and pressure tank systems.
Call us to schedule a service call with one of our experience residential well technicians who can determine the cause of your problem. Most repairs can be executed quickly and most importantly, properly. We inventory the top lines of well pumps, motors, pressure tanks and accessories in our Burlington Indiana office. For the majority of service calls our service trucks are well equipped to take care of your problem on the first visit.
Are you tired of poor or fluctuating water pressure to take showers or run your dishwasher? If your goal is to minimize fluctuations in water pressure, we offer constant pressure-variable speed submersible pumps that maintain constant water pressure, much like homes that are connected to municipal water systems.
Over time residential wells may develop problems. Call Armstrong Drilling to visually document and record the interior of wells - from the surface to the completed depth. Well evaluations are usually requested to identify potential problem areas when troubleshooting well issues as well as determine vertical water flow directions or target depth ranges to apply hydrofracturing techniques. Residential Well Abandonment
The State of Indiana has strict regulations in place when a well no longer serves its intended purpose. If the well is abandoned or sealed, the State outlines specific process and procedures that must be followed to prevent contaminants from entering water sources, such as aquifers, streams, etc. Furthermore, Indiana code also requires that certain wells be abandoned and sealed, such as;
Hand dug wells
Wells that do not meet regulatory minimum production requirements
Well borings that do not produce sufficient water quantity
Improve water flow and the quality of water from your well. When a well has lowered water flow or heavy levels of sand and sediment, Armstrong Drilling can improve the situation by removing and cleaning the submersible water pump and the pump’s screen. Built-up sediment and “gunk” is also removed from the top of the well. Typically, homeowners see better water flow and water quality after this service is performed
There are conditions where bacteria can be unwittingly introduced into your water well system, potentially adversely affecting the quality of the water supply. Armstrong Drilling well experts sanitize wells in both residential and commercial well water systems to ensure that the water is safe for human consumption. Water treatments are usually required during a property transfer if a water quality test fails for bacteria. Water well systems should also be chlorinated any time that the submersible pump is removed from the well or following a new pump installation.
